A message from the Club Chair 🚨 

“Success has many fathers and it was great last night to see so many people so proud of the great achievement by our Ladies team. A thrilling game between two very good teams which went to the last kick.   

Special mention to the coaches and management team, led by Shane, Ben and Caitriona, it has been great to see the improvement in the team throughout the year. Rob and Mary were also kept very busy attending to injured players and best wishes to Geena for a speedy recovery.  

To have a squad of 30 on the night was great to see and all 30 played a key role in matches throughout the year and in collectively achieving the goal. 

Special mention to all the girls who came all the way from the academy to be part of the big night. All Your coaches were very proud of you. You had good role models as you made the journey from the academy and now you are role models. 

We had cousins and sisters on the team but surely uniquely for a final our centre field paring was a Hudson mother and daughter combination. Aoibhinn and Clare put in a great performance together.  

So well done Ladies, we are proud of you and thankful to you and your coaching team for the great enjoyment you served up all year and you capped it all last night.
