Adult Ladies secure big win! Gers weekly round-up 🚨
Congratulations to our Adult Ladies who continued their perfect start to the season with a one point victory over St. Sylvesters on Wednesday night.
Well done to Darren, Dave, Dec and all the team on making such a great start to life in Division 8!
Two U12 Hurling squads took to the field in good sunshine on Saturday.
Our ‘Amber’ squad had a magnificent outing beating a fancied Clan na Gael team. Jake Keenan in defence was superb and Evan Coffey again in goal was very solid.
Our ‘Black’ squad acquitted themselves very well against a strong Kevin’s side. The grading games are now all done, so it’s onwards to our Division games and hopefully some hurling weather for May and June.
It was a busy weekend of Juvenile Camogie Action.
Our U10 Girls were away to Fingallians on Saturday, for two very competitive games.
The girls and their mentors can be super proud of their efforts, with plenty of skill and lots of determination on display.
On Sunday, our U8 Camogie group played their second ever Camogie games. The Gers teams faced St Pats Palmerstown and Kevin's Killian's.
There was super effort all round and the girls' hard work at training is paying off.
The U9 Boys were in Hurling action on Saturday morning against Ballyboden St Endas.
The team worked really well together and demonstrated great togetherness to help one of their injured team-mate off the pitch.
Congratulations to our U15 and U16 Girls, Sisi Kelly, Anna Meehan, Aliya Keogh, Aoibhinn Hudson, Mairead Downey & Sophie Meehan for winning the Dublin Schools GAA Division 2 Scoop Final for Loreto Foxrock on Wednesday.
Well done to our U14 Boys players Alex Griffin, Alex Brennan, Jeremiah Fubara, Jacob Owens and Paul McEnroe who were part of the Clonkeen College team that won the Leinster Shield final of the Tom Quinlan Cup.
Our U14 Southern Gaels Hurlers lost out to Lucan Sarsfields in a great game on Saturday afternoon while our U14 Boys Footballers were beaten by a strong St. Pats Donabate side on Tuesday night.
Our Adult Intermediate Footballers were beaten in Balbriggan by O’Dwyers on Saturday and out Adult Hurlers were also beaten by St. Marks on Thursday.
