Notice to all Members - New Level 3 Referees Wanted.

We are seeking applications for any members interested in becoming trained as a Level 3 Referee in either Hurling/Football or both. This is to officiate at matches for age groups U13 up to U16. This is the age group that is experiencing the biggest shortage of eligible Referees and if there is no Referee, then the game can't proceed.

Applicants do not have to be qualified as either Level 1 or Level 2 Referees but must be over 18 years old. However, any existing Referees over 18 may also apply.

You must be a registered member of The Gers and be Garda Vetted or apply to be Garda Vetted.

There is an online examination which you must attain 70% in to qualify and the course fee once approved is €100 which includes a full Referee Uniform.
