It was an early start in Howth on Saturday for our U15 girls team at the Féile.
They became the first girls team in the club to play in the Féile.
The girls were outstanding in their 3 games as they came up against some strong Division 3 teams.
We thank all in Beann Eadair for their wonderful hospitality and for a great occasion.
Well done to the girls, who are wonderful ambassadors for the club.
The weekend in Cornelscourt started as it always does down at our Academy on Saturday morning.
Although we were missing some of our normal coaches who were representing us at the Féile, they were a number of our Men's Adult footballers down to help out.
The sun shone in the morning and after the Academy, our U8s boys hurling team had a great training session.
Our U10s Boys Hurling team were in action against a very strong Faughs hurling team on Saturday.
The boys held their own scoring 2-06 and while they lost they kept going to the end with some great displays from John Donnelly in the forward line and Michael Dunne in goal.
It was a busy Saturday afternoon down at the pitch in Cornelscourt as our two U13s boys football teams were in action.
Both of our teams were excellent and came away with wins in their final grading games of the year, well done to the lads and their coaches.
Our u9 girls football team were away to Ballinteer and were terrific.
Well done to both teams who put on a great show for all in attendance.
The Dad's N Lads finished up their winter training yesterday and will move to Fridays night at 7.45 from the 21st April. Everyone is welcome, all standards are catered for.
The Southern Gaels U15 Hurling team had a narrow win in their Feile match vs St Vincents, well done to the players from the Gers and Shankill on their win.
The minor team had a brilliant win on Sunday morning, the team are growing from strength to strength.
It is testament to the great work being done by Des, Dave, Colm and Marc with the lads.
Our Adult hurlers were beaten by Good Counsel/Liffey Gaels on Sunday afternoon, despite a great effort.
And finally our U15 Boys Footballers' Feile Semi Final vs St. Kevin's Killians is on in Kilnamanagh on Wednesday 19th. Throw in is at 7pm. This is the third time these 2 teams have locked horns in a football semi-final, so it should be a super match.
